Competition Structure

The Elite Clubs National League, Inc. ("ECNL") was founded in 2009 to enhance the developmental experience of the female youth soccer players in the United States through improving the competitive environment through creation of a true national competitive league with multiple flights and improving the process for identifying elite female soccer players for the U.S. Soccer youth national teams through a systematic scouting and identification program based on national competitions and and improving the daily training environment at top female youth soccer clubs through developing best practices and training and organizational guidelines for its member clubs.

CONFERENCE AND PLAY-OFFS

Every ECNL team will have a "home and away" conference schedule and in the ECNL Play-Offs. Sixteen (16) teams from the ECNL Play-Offs will advance to participate in the ECNL Finals.

NATIONAL SHOWCASE EVENTS

As part of its mission to enhance the developmental experience of female youth soccer players in the United States, ECNL stages National Showcase events each year. The ECNL competition season will include four (4) ECNL Showcase Events for Crossfire United ECNL teams. Participation will vary depending on their age group.
