College Placement Program Events

Watch a highlight video of Crossfire United ECNL College Recruiting Information Night in 2015. An informative conversation and panel on the college recruiting process from current and former NCAA college coaches. Players and parents learned about the key steps in the process, the timeline during each high school year, important recruiting tools, and found out what coaches are looking for in prospective players. Speakers included Melanie Langley, Rochelle Hearns, Grant Landy, Cole McCool and Niki Brooks.

More events will be planned in the future. If you have any questions about the college recruiting process, please contact Kevin Legg.

Crossfire United College Placement Program

A key component of ECNL and one of its driving purposes is to increase the college recruitment exposure for the top players in the country. NCAA Division I, II III and NAIA college soccer programs recruit nationally, and opportunities to play in NCAA Division I tend to go to players from nationally competitive teams. Elite players maximize their opportunity to be recruited for college and to be identified for the national team by playing against the top talent from around the country at the best college showcases. The ECNL guarantees you the opportunity to play the best players, at the biggest showcase events, every year.

Crossfire United is committed to walking along side of our players during the college placement process. Our responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Pre-event parent meetings to help outline the recruiting process and offer guidance for parents.
  • Assist in creating player profiles.
  • Communication with potential college coaches.
  • Individual meetings with families and players throughout season to assist in college planning process. (Families/players need to take responsibility on setting up appointments with our staff).
  • Following up with college coaches prior to and after each ECNL college showcase events and games.
  • College nights & ID Camps where we will have the chance to bring in college coaches from NCAA Division I, II, III schools as well as NAIA program.
